For Headlights as you all are aware there are Tons of Generic Aftermarket Products available ranging in Pricing and design but almost all of them Lack one Important Point i.e Performance. There is Lack of Options for Headlights that Perform as well as they Look. These Headlights usually have Poor Light Optics that doesn’t Provide any Visibility to the Driver, rather Just Blind the Oncoming Traffic from the Glare Produced. This particular issue has become a Menace as Headlights are Supposed to be Used in the City as well and when you Blind everyone around it gives a Bad Name to the Vehicle and the Owners as Such. These claim to be Plug & Play but when the Actual Installation is done the Installer will Strip Cables from your OEM DRL Cable or the Turn Indicator Cable damaging the Warranty of your Vehicle from the Manufacturer.

Now, If you look at the other End of the Spectrum you can find some International Brands providing Headlights which can be installed but the Pricing is Super Premium and is sure to burn a Hole in your Pocket. Performance wise no Doubt they are worthy for the reputation they have.

The Third Option that Most Thar Owners opt for is getting Retrofitting Done for the Headlight. This might seem to be the Ideal option but 2 Major Factors affect going for this. One, The Retrofitter again in Most cases have been known to do Unprofessional Installations with Wire Cuttings and Tampering with the Original Wiring of the Car. The Headlight has 3 Color Temperatures that you can Access all from the Comfort of your Driving Seat:

1st Color Mode: Pure White 6000k Temperature for Low Beam and High Beam

2nd Color Mode: Warm White 4300k Temperature for Low Beam and 3300k for High Beam

3rd Color Mode: Yellow 3300k Temperature for Low and High Beam

Why do you need 3 Color Modes?

As you maybe aware that Stock Headlights offer 4300 k Temperature which is great for Driving and also doesn’t strain the Eyes for Long Distance Driving. However, Pure White Color 6000k Temperature seems more Brighter to the Human Eye and seems brighter as compared to any other Color Temperature. Despite the above Colors being Highly Effective for Driving under a Clear Night Sky, These loose their effectiveness when adverse Weather Conditions like Rain, Fog, Snow are about to Hit your Travelling Plans.

Our Touring Headlight for Thar is a One Stop Solution for Forward Lighting without the Need to have any other Fog/ Auxiliary Lights on your Car for Compensating for the Lack of Performance of the Headlight.

Moreover, the Headlight DRL Design has been kept Simplistic and Classy to match the OEM DRL that comes from the Vehicle Manufacturer. This Provides a Blend of Both the DRL’s on the Thar (OEM & Headlight) and these Compliment Each other very well.

The Power Consumption for Each Headlight is 24 Watts on Low beam and 30 Watts for the High Beam. That makes a Combined Total Power Draw of Only 48 Watts for Low Beam and 60 Watts for High for Both Headlights. You Might think that this is not Powerful enough as you are used to the Aftermarket Generic Products False Claiming 100 Watts, 150 Watts and so on of Power. The Headlights Run on Bi – LED Projector Based setup which has a Sweet Spot of 20-40 Watts of Power, Anymore and you can be Rest assured your Headlights will not have a Very Long Life Span. How do you Access all different Colors on the Headlight?

Its Very Simple! Once you Turn on the Headlights from the Combination Switch – Pure White Color comes on by Default. Everytime you turn off your Headlight and Turn it on as soon as its off, the Color will Change for the Headlight and will keep moving through different color Cycles everytime you Turn the Switch off/ On. Once you have set the Desired Color Temperature, the Headlight High/ Low beam will function according to the Color Mode Set. VAISHNU Touring Headlight vs Stock Headlight of Thar:

• Our Touring Headlight is 4 x Brighter than Stock Headlight of Thar.
• The Stock Headlight is Reflector Based which produces some amount of Glare and hence loss of Light whereas our Touring Headlight is Projector Based which has very well Defined Optics and hence produces no Glare for On coming traffic and projects the Light Rays where it is intended to go.
• Stock Headlight has H4 Bulb Specification which has 2 different Filaments for High and Low beam. When you use Low Beam, High Beam filament stays off and similarly when you use High Beam, Low beam Filament stays off. The Limitation here is that when you use High Beam in Stock Headlights, it Illuminates Distant areas down the road but there is no illumination right ahead of the Vehicle which would otherwise be lit when the Low beam is on. This creates a void while Driving and quite frustrating for Proper Visibility. In case of Our Touring Headlights, The Low Beam stays on in Low Beam mode with a very well defined Cut off Line but as soon as you activate the High Beam, The Low Beam doesn’t Shut down but rather stays on throughout whereas the High Beam also adds on to the Light Beam giving you full Clarity from right in front of the Vehicle to Distant point on the Road.
• The Stock Headlight Halogen Bulb has a Lifespan of 500-800 hrs (Depending upon different brands), whereas our Touring Headlights for Thar are LED Based and have a Lifespan of upto 50,000 hrs. This is a Significant Increase in the Lifespan of the Headlight Setup which can last 3-5 Years even after Rigorous Usage.

VAISHNU Touring Headlight vs Aftermarket Generic Headlight of Thar:

• First Option that Customers choose for is Upgrading to Higher Wattage LED Bulbs which is marketed extensively. The problem here is that Stock Reflectors are not designed for these 2 or 3 sided LED Bulbs to be used in the Reflector Setup which eventually produces more glare by Light Rays Scattering in all Direction rather than on Road. This is something that most owners today are very well aware of, as The Light Output Looks great from a Distance and Blinding but Useless for the Driver who needs it on the Road.
• Second Option is changing the Complete Headlight to Generic Headlights that look Very Fancy but have Zero Performance. Again the Lights have Poor Optics from Reflector or Projector Based setup with Poor Components used in the Manufacturing. As a Result again the Purpose of Good Lighting is not achieved.

• Moreover, the Generic Headlights all Come in 6000k Pure white Color Temperature which is all good during Clear Weather. But What happens when it Rains? or Fog? Ask the Owners they’ll tell you the White Color Beam actually Hinders vision in these Weather Conditions rather than provide any Visibility.
